Downright Austin, A Renaissance Hotel

The staff was fantastic friendly!

The location offered was particularly good and easy near to the restaurant. Had tea and goodies at Quickie Pickie, nestled 1 km of the hotel. My room was tidy & relaxing with free internet

Came here for weekend, had good 3 days overall. The staff has always been amicable, and the facilities were good. I got a functional and tidy room with free internet. Loved their outdoor bar.

There was maid service missing, I was a little disappointed.

Nice hotel, great beds bathrooms not as nice as hotels in similar price range overall very nice stay!

The King Room was super comfy! The thermostat actually let us cool down the room, a win for my chilly-loving heart. Parking in the garage was easy, and the room offered plenty of space for our stuff.

This hotel and also the city of Austin are just fantastic. There was nothing to fault during my entire stay. Would stay again and again.

Quite rude staff!

The hotel features a beautifully renovated lobby and dining area. The location is fantastic, being just a short walk from 6th Street and the Capitol. Dining at the hotel restaurant is a must, with an excellent breakfast and even better dinner options. The fitness center is well-equipped, and each machine has a TV where guests can log into their Netflix accounts.

The location of the hotel is very good, you can quickly reach the main places of interest in the city centre. The staff is very helpful and friendly, they could be a little more informed about what is going on in the city and make that happen as well. The design is modern and striking, yet it seems that for this 2018 they will make some renovations and it will surely be even better.

The fact that they charge for parking, this should be part of a service that the hotel provides since one is paying for the accommodation and is expected to include this. Also, few people in the restaurant area took long enough to bring what one asked for, so the front desk would help if they had information about tours that could be taken around the city, as well as brochures of the activities. Being a city where there are many visitors and tourists would give them a plus. For those travelers who plan to spend a special date, such as the new year, the restaurant had nothing prepared for dinner, it would have helped if some event, however small it was done, we spent the night there and there were always enough people

The location was great for 6th street and the warehouse district. The room was large and comfy. The staff was very friendly.

The pool and jacuzzi seemed dirty (or just old).

Charming lobby, comfortable room, enjoyed a good stay with a well-decorated space and convenient amenities like the nice cafe in the lobby and the lovely bartender at the restaurant, all within a short distance from a metro station.

The location is great - right off I35 and really close to both downtown and ut campus (visiting student son). The room was very clean and had hairdryer, iron, etc.... Bed was extremely comfortable.

Very noisy guests still partying in rooms all around ours at 2am. In room coffee pot only had one coffee cartridge and it was Decaf! Us coffee drinkers really need our caffeine and it was a double room so there should have been two coffee cartridges.

The hotel was lovely; the staff was friendly and helpful; the location was perfect and convenient to everything. Also, the bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet and relaxing. We would definitely stay there again.

The dining options were limited, requiring meals to be sought outside. The quality of service varied, with some staff providing less helpful responses than expected. Room issues included receiving feather bedding despite requests for non-feather alternatives.
